Telcino Practice · Terms of Use

The Ground Rules

These are the rules for using the app, on the field and off it. By downloading or using Telcino Practice, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

  1. Who can use the app

The app is for adults, such as coaches, assistants and team organisers. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to agree to these terms. Younger users may use the app only with a parent or guardian who accepts these terms for them.

  2. Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for coaching and organising practices. This includes team, club and school coaching.

  3. The drill library

The drills, descriptions, diagrams and app design belong to Jack Foster or our licensors and are protected by copyright. You may use them to run your own practices and share printed or verbal instructions with your team. You may not copy, resell or republish the library, in whole or in large part, as your own product.

  4. Your sessions are yours

Practice plans, custom drills and notes you create belong to you. They are stored on your device, as explained in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your own backups. If you lose your device or delete the app, we cannot recover them.

  5. Safety on the field comes first

Telcino Practice is a planning and timing tool, not a substitute for your judgement, training or supervision. Before running any drill, check that it suits your players' age, ability, health and the conditions: weather, surface, space and equipment. Follow your league's, club's and governing body's safety, safeguarding and concussion rules. Provide water and rest, and stop any activity that seems unsafe.

Timers can be interrupted by low battery, notifications, silent mode or device settings. Don't rely on the timer alone for anything safety-critical, such as rest periods in heat.

  6. Fair play with the app

Don't reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the app except where the law allows it. Don't remove copyright notices, use the app to break any law, or try to interfere with how it works.

  7. Purchases and app stores

If the app or any feature in it is sold, Apple's App Store or Google Play handles the payment, and their terms govern billing, refunds and subscriptions. If anything here conflicts with the store's mandatory terms, the store's terms apply to that part.

  8. Updates and changes

We may update the app, add or remove drills or features, or stop offering it. We may also revise these terms. When we do, we will update the effective date above. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the revised terms.

  9. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. These include fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and uninterrupted operation, to the fullest extent the law allows.

  10. Limits of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Jack Foster is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for injury, loss or damage arising from drills run or practices held using the app. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the previous 12 months, or USD 10 if you paid nothing. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

  11. Ending the licence

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. If you seriously break these terms, your licence ends automatically. The sections on ownership, warranty and liability continue to apply after that.

  12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the publisher lives, without affecting any consumer protections you have under the laws of your home country. Questions go to jack.foster67@gmail.com or the Support page.

Keep this part: the short version

Use the app to plan and run good practices. The drill library is ours, and your session plans are yours. Keep your players safe, because the whistle is in your hand, not the app's. The app is provided as is.
